Dr. taking vitals - Why? Assessment - case preparation - The Vital signs of Victory?
Thesis: The Victorious have vital signs!
What are the vital signs of the victorious?
1) Hope
"Steadfast, Immovable" - I shall not be moved
Moved from what? The hope of the faith! The Good news! The cause! The Alamo!
Pat Cavin - facing death - Resurrection!! Not reincarnation, evolution!
Delivered - freed, saved, changed! Victory over death is secured in Christ!
Problems? Weak-kneed Christianity - I am easily moved! Fear, worry, doubt, TGIF living!
Easily angered, easily offended, easily swayed
We show the vitals of the vanquished instead of victorious!
How? Roots! A weak root system will not hold up! Must be by the living waters!
Dad's plane - building a labor of love - the Vital of victory?
2) Heart
Fully given - God's business is our labor of love!
What's God's business? Salvation - Life!
Can I truly exist with God's work as my labor of love? Why is it so hard?
People are quitters - we do things half-way - we aren't finishers! EXHAUSTED!

What builds determination - availability - discipleship, worship, kinship
By determination comes discovery! God has created you for great works!

How are your vitals? Need a check-up? People are not stupid! They can make an assessment of your vitals!
