Family business, or something you were taught? God: Family Biz, or what His family does? Seek and Save
The call of the child of God is to work in the family business

How do you get in the family biz?
Jesus calls you to the family business!
The two calls
Come, Follow me - Truth: Obedience comes before passion!
Peter and Andrew were following the fish, now they are called to be followers that fish! Truth: Caught up in following fish? That is a command to make Jesus your leader and guide! HOW? Following fish?
Called - James and John - waited until earshot - To be in His Party - What defines a person who's in the party of Jesus? teachable!
Jesus trains you in the family business!
I will make you - the business must be learned - People must develop a skill or ability - you can't just come in and start running the biz! Truth: Following the fish is the business of living; following Jesus is the business of life. Living - how Mom taught me to swim! Life - to catch!
Apprenticeship - in discipleship - Relevance and application: Bait and tackle shop - It's not easy, everyone is not nice! It's up to you to try!
Jesus promises involvement in the family business!
Fishers of men - means to catch men alive! The one thing I had to get over as I learned to fish - Killing them - Death! The one thing you discover -God wants that none should perish! He needs fishermen! White Bass runs - Catching souls!
Conclusion
Fish story - The big one that got away - or the big one I reeled in? OHC can be the bait and tackle shop! We can be the Fishermen - Catch the call and be in the family business! Be that follower that fishes instead of following the fish!
