Text: Mark 1:14-15
Current reality - Bad news abounding - Info age to boot!
I'm looking for Good news! Where OHC is going in 2009
God has Good news! It's called the Gospel.
Thesis: The Good News is the Kingdom Call
"There is hope, help, healing, and life everlasting!"
How is the Kingdom call Good news?
1) God's Passion for people
Whatever it takes! John 3:16 - People matter to God! All people! God loves you - he cares for you! That's why He died for you! This passion resides in believers - 1 Corinthians 9:19-23
The Good News is God's Passion for people!
2) God's Plan for people
Repent - change one's mind - make a turn - Making up your mind?
Truth - When you repent you will discover God's plan for your life!
What is it? Ministry - 2 Corinthians 5:17-20
You are the voice of hope in the wilderness!
The Problem we face – Giftedness - Alex Hildebrand - A made up mind!
Nehemiah - You, too, will do a great work! My Story - praying for new direction
Stay the course!
Ask - "If you had to live your life over and over would you be glad or sad?"
Repent! Go in God's way! Hear God's Kingdom call!
3) God's Place for people
Place faith in God - Place trust in Him - Misplaced trust - lost trust - People say, "What's the use?" Give up - God never gives up on you!
He has a place in you - V8 - Boiling water - justified, sanctified, and glorified - Child of His! The way everlasting
You have a place with Him - Now in prayer - forever in eternity! The life everlasting!
Conclusion

God needs people with the Kingdom Call! Passion, plan, place

2)Take the Kingdom call with you
The time has come! We have the Gospel! It's God's good news!
