God enters the scene of your life
People can live by Divine intervention. How?
1) God in us
V9 - God intervened on the scene! His divine presence - Radiance!
"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." - 2 Corinthians 3:17-18
God dwells in you if you are His child! "House of God" - What's in you?
We radiate God! Divine radiance causes a shake up! Sore afraid
The presence of God can cause panic! Why? It is the terror in the heart of the sinner when in the presence of holy God.
2) God with us
V10-11 - God's intervention is the gospel! Good news of Mega Joy!
To you - personal! God is now with you! Savior, Christ, Lord = Emmanuel - "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel" - which means, "God with us."
Redeemer! Savior, messenger, leader, King! The word! "A sign"
Find God's word! It is God with you!
How? It's expected we will search for Him! Sunday, scriptures, obey!
Don't be a dumper! Ever been dumped? Look out for the habit of dumping
3) God for us
V13-14 - Celebrate your new life! Your new hope! Your Father!
Praise your Father - He is the Highest - In region and rank - he is for you!
Blessings on earth - Peace - good will - Heb 11:6 - "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."
His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
What do you do? Make the trade - fear for joy! Hear the Good news! Decide to trade death for life by Divine intervention (Scott Divine). You will have influence, purpose, joy, passion, love, all because God is in, with and for you, intervening on the scene of your life!
