Text: Philippians 4:1-3
Good news or bad news - What first? Can't we agree? Disagreement unresolved causes instability - relevance? God teaches us how to have agreeability! Then we maintain stability.
A body that stands firm will have agreeability.
How do we have agreeability?
1) Location, location, location
" . . . to agree with each other in the Lord"
Come together or come apart
There will be disagreement! The place of agreement is in the Lord! Be of the same party.
How there is disagreement in the party
We stay on the platform of Christ - The planks – Grace - hope, power, healing, forgiveness, joy, peace, love, righteousness, purpose
When facing disagreement, come to the platform of Christ!
We must make the move! When I disagree, I flee

2) Vocation, vocation, vocation
V3 - yokefellow, contend, cause, fellow workers
Bring together
The saved are the voice and workers for reconciliation! Our vocation is reconciliation!
Sometimes this gets fuzzy - Let's agree
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation." – 2 Corinthians 5:17-18
We are in the business of God!
HELP! We have life's work 1) The proven, the personal, the people
2) Look to the positive - They were servants for the cause - Know the main thing!
There is no private leak in the boat - We are all responsible to help people get back on the platform of Christ!
Truth - even the most faithful can fall into disagreement
Remember - "you must confront the issue before the issue confronts you"
People that are in the vocation of life will work to plug the leaks!
Conclusion
Good news or bad news? Let us be a place of stability - Noah's Ark
Lives changed - Jesus is our platform - doing our life work
