Standard of living - Gallup poll - Based on measurements-financial, material, personal

Can be snatched away!

God promises a life more abundant! By His standard of living!

Cannot be snatched away!

By God's standard of living you catch the vision for your life

What is God's standard of living? THE STEADY STANDARD

Is a point of view!

Mature - Positional, passionate pursuit - I am able - He is Lord!

Pastor lamenting for mature Christians - What's that look like?

Fruit bearing! In Christ - for Christ - Growing in Christ! The mature are moving!

Should Take this view - This attitude – thinking - "all for the call" - All of us positional and passionate in pursuit! Joshua 1:7-8 - God has a plan and you are part of it! Obey!

Look out for the right and the left! What are some distractions?

Peer pressure - liquorized society, glamorized adultery, low self opinion

Different point . . . God will clear - Paul was a pastor - He knew the resistance in the heart of man

The steady standard will seek and trust God to give you this point of view!

Teachable? Open or closed? A has been or a will be?

How? Establish your priorities! Love God first!

Greatest weapon used against Christians? They don't measure up to what they claim!

Lie, steal, cheat, love, joy, peace

"Only let us live up to what we have already attained." (same rule or measure)

The steady standard is a point of verification - By victories! 1 Samuel 7:12 - Stone of Help

What rock do you stand on?

How runners get DQ'd? Run in the lane! Faith! Trust! Values! Hold to them!

Orienteering - Point to point running - continuing to capture God's vision!

How? God's word applied and relied - Follow examples - God's pruning

In running, quitting doesn't mean stopping, quitting means giving a little less than your limit - The steady standard catches God's vision - More like Christ!

Conclusion

White line fever? Or catching the vision?
