Text: Matthew 28:16-20
Bubble - not able to influence – relevance - the differing bubbles
God has authorized our ability to influence! Truth - Your presence will burst the bubble!
You have authorized influence! You will burst the bubble! How?
1) Follow the leader
V16-18a - Meet with Jesus!
A) Follow instructions - greatest ability is availability
B) Worship - when God is not truly worshiped he can’t be truly revealed
C) Wonder - Mountain climbers - even might doubt the climb? Adam – God - Gen 3:10
D) Truth - draws near - reveals! Seek and hear - Draw near and he draws near
E) Harvest - Jesus has plans for you! Authorized influence! Servant heart church - Matthew 9:35 - John 6:44 - How? The word is powerful!
2) Lead the follower
V18b-20 - Go for/with Jesus
A) Making - leading in the process - OHC’s process - Invest! Agenda?
B) Baptizing - immersed in God! His names - enthused!
C) By Example - Sandy’s influence on me - your growth
Jesus in the dugout? Take Him to the field! Your expression
D) Believe - Jesus will be with you/for you - He builds His church! The strength we have!!
Conclusion
The vision? Each one of us real Disciples! True followers! Authorized influencers! Bursting bubbles and reaching people! A people following and loving Jesus and leading and loving people! Why can’t we be the church? The bubble! Burst it today!
