Be the life of love
Juan Ponce de Leon - the gist of the matter was his being! Me? Legacy 2000 - gist of the matter - Relationship! You - have you found the gist of the matter of life? God - The gist of the matter of life. The gist of the matter of life is love.
How am I the life of love? Is my life a life that truly loves God, and truly loves others?
1) My relationship with God - BE IN LOVE
A) Loving God - easy to say but are you really a lover of God?
B) Come into Love! Jesus! Receive the life of love! You are in!! Psalm 51
C) Discover the value of brokenness - first Beatitude! Legacy 2000
The amazing God becomes your center:
- Jesus is the gist of every matter
- Your mind allows Jesus to filter every thought and decision – Gravity
- Your soul sings! And your strength worships! OHC!
The gist of the matter of life is loving God!
We still look for self justification -V29 - We justify our barriers!
2 Cor. 5:20
2) My representation of the Kingdom - BE THE LOVE
Seek first! All added - I'm from the neighboorhood of love
A) Loving others-easy to say but hard to do! How?
B) God’s values! People! "Half dead" - The compassion of Christ is in you!
C) Look out for the delineation - God’s love knows no boundary!!
No non-neighbors! Habitual churches - MY prayer "reached unchurched"
D) God’s love – compassion - Took care - investment without conditions! Just like God did for you! Rescued! Restored! Cares and provides! No conditions - but you know there had to be return - three lives were changed!
The gist of the matter of life is love!
Where are you today? Is eternal life yours? Have you come into love? What’s the gist of the matter of your life?
Instead of looking for the fountain of youth, look for the fountain of life! As Juan discovered a truth so can you! Get in the stream of life today! Sail to the riches God has for you! Be the gist of the matter of life! Be love! Love God - Love others
