Text: Ephesians 5:8-13
Kingdom Congregations are to shine! Painting day - Sometimes we tarnish! God - calls His Church to Shine for Jesus! Beaming! A standout! Truth - When we are saved we can shine! We have all the tools! Shoe shine kit - Thesis: Kingdom Congregations Shine for Jesus!! How?
1) Live as you are
V8 - were - are - once dead now alive! Light -radiant energy - you have divine energy!! Live as you are! In Christ - you know where you came from - You know Jesus has saved you - Live as the new creation; LIGHT! John 8:12
Light - fast - powerful - laser beam - Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation
2) Live how you can
V9-10 - Our divine energy emits beams that bear heavenly fruit!
When we are stirred to please God our light will bless!
Goodness:
”Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” - Matthew 5:16
Righteousness:
”For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” - 2 Corinthians 5:21
Truth:
”Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” - John 8:31-32
Find out what pleases God and do it! Beaming - bearing - emitting God’s ways!

3) Live so you will
V11-14 - Living to bring exposure - Our proof brings reproof!
My light reveals the truth of darkness - Kids say prove it! RELEVANCE - What I do, say, where I stand? Our divine energy gives us divine ability - Our lives can convict and awaken the lost! Our words can stir the heart! 2 Samuel 12
Consider the source! “The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble.”
You shine! You live so you can show the way! V14 - the hope! They’ll find the light of life!! Wake up! Little league -See the reality! Things become visible!
Conclusion
What if we were all shining?! Beaming with Jesus! With the Shine on!
