Text: Ephesians 4:7-10

Confidence in abilities - got hurt - lost confidence! Scar is a reminder. Ever lost confidence -self - someone - something? Carry a reminder? God wants us to build kingdom confidence! A life and a church that exists with confidence in Our Lord! Carry the reminders!

Building Kingdom Confidence. How?

1) Think Grace

V7 - “Each one grace has been given” Grace is shared! Salvation is theirs, too! That’s why we ought to all get along!!

A) Each one has been graced!! Covered! Saved! Forgiven! Redeemed!

Think about others as God thought about you!! Loved even while dead in trespasses!

When you walk among fellow members of the body, think they’ve been graced, too!

B) “as Christ apportioned it.”

To the measure of Christ’s gift. Grace is served!

Each one has a special gift! How a carpenter measures for a fit. Jesus has done this for each one! Have confidence in your ability!! Snowflakes, fingerprints - your bubble! Start thinking how each one has been graced by Jesus in a special and unique way, and we will build Kingdom confidence!!

How easy it is to lose confidence but how very difficult to build confidence - Wanting to see proof!

2) Think Glory

V8-10 - Bottom line? Jesus Reigns! He is over all! He has captured and defeated the enemy! He came down to seek and to save! He has freed those who are His! Psalm 68 - a celebration of bringing the Ark back from the enemy!

A) Think of the celebration in Heaven! Our Lord triumphant! Psalm 24!

His conquering make us conquerors! Think of the celebration on Earth!

”Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

B) Jesus passed out the gifts to bring him glory! That He might fill all things. The Holy Spirit has come and given them! You can shine for Jesus! What if we each used our gifts to the fullest capacity?

Conclusion!

OHC! Have Kingdom Confidence! We will be blessed by God! We will do what he has called us to do! An outreaching church! A blessing church! Thinking grace! Thinking Glory! A body with Kingdom Confidence!!
