1) Count on the Spirit of God
One Body - Lake Baikal is the deepest and oldest lake in the world. It is the largest freshwater lake on the earth by volume. It contains over one fifth of the world's liquid fresh surface water.
The body of Christ is deep, wide and varied but complete! Denominations? We are joined together by the Spirit! One Spirit - The Spirit of the living God! Explain His work! Gifts, graces. Binds us together. The same God!!
One Hope - Sealed! Saved! The day to come!! Heaven - home! Blessed hope! That’s why we ought to get right today or else Jesus will get it right! Conviction
2) Count on the Son of God
One Lord - Make Jesus the one! The one you follow, allegiance to. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God.
Look out for the great dividers - Self - Idolatry. Loyalty - how rare it is!
One Faith - Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Doctrine - Substitutionary atonement! But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Whoever believes will be saved - One Baptism - Immersed in Christ! Drowned and dyed! The new creation! The regeneration! The is the testimony of your allegiance to Christ! Fruits!! Salvation is adding up!
3) Count on the Sovereignty of God
God of three persons yet one God! Complete - all! Omnipotent - having virtually unlimited authority or influence. Omnipresent - present in all places at all times. Omniscient - having infinite awareness, understanding, and insight possessed of universal or complete knowledge. This amazing God adds up to ALL! Completeness - UNITY!!
Kingdom calculating.
How often do people think they are adding up but they are really tearing down?
What to do? Count on God in your life - Spirit led -Christ saved - God covered! How people are putting VT on everything - will pass - let us always count on God! He will add up in your life!
