Text: Psalm 139:13-18
God has a book on you! But are you on the same page with him? You can be on the same page with God! How?
1) Value yourself daily!
V13-14 -You are a wonder!
A) God conceived you! Inmost being - heart and soul -Physical and spiritual - Great abilities
B) Know - Certain in the awesome creation - Look in the mirror!!
He knit you together! What was he thinking? All your abilities!!
God’s hands made you! Rejoice!! Praise!
You get on the same page with God - He is a wonder you are a wonder!
“For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” – Ephesians 2:10
Apply yourself - how I heard that! God sees what I can do!
2) Apply yourself daily!
V15-16 -
A) God sees your potential - Frame not hidden –substance - He knows what you are made of! What are you made of? You are made of God!
B) God has a vision for your life - Your eyes saw - He sees what you can do!! Ability to think, decide, to discipline
C) God has calendared your life!! Day planner. Genesis 24:12 - “God, give your servant success today!” Jer. 29:11 - Get in his plan, because He’s planning on your potential!!
I almost lost my job because of a lie someone told about me - Jesus was with me
3)Assure yourself daily
V17-18 -
A) God cares for you more than you can imagine!
He thinks about you, knows your needs. Matthew 6:8 - because he knows your makeup!
B) still with you - I am in His thoughts and care! How we say you are in our thoughts and prayers - God never forgets you
Preach the promises of His presence.
Joseph - no matter the circumstance, God blessed Him! God was writing a great story! People could see he was connected to God!
Conclusion
Dog-earring a book - Those teenagers - are they stuck on a page? I can look back and see those times when God helped me lift the dog-ear and turn the page. Are you on the same page with God? Received His love? Followed His commands? On the same page? God has a book on you! Are you in it?
