Never the Same

My heart is evangelism and discipleship - Life changing events - Stock Market crash, Pearl Harbor Day, D-Day, 9/11, kindergarten, graduation, marriage, death - life is about change! Growing older - life changes!
Being a Christian is life changing! Context is important - Because of “this same Jesus,” your life will never be the same! Life changes! 2 Cor.5:17. A new power! A new person! A new perspective! A new hope and heart! How is Jesus life changing?
1) Because of Jesus, you have a life changing power
V8 - “You will receive power.” Holy Spirit - we have received this gift! This promise!
You have great power!
Brings a change in you!! Purpose-hope-joy-peace-wisdom - Phil 2:13 - “for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.”
Spiritual warfare - you win!! More than conquerors!
You have unlimited power and potential! How do we unleash the power in our lives?
Stay clean, stay filled, stay powerful! God changes your life - out of the rut and on the road!
2) Because of Jesus, you are a life changing person
V8 - “you will be my witnesses…” - we have a story! A report to give! What we see, hear, feel.
We each have a story - each have a valuable testimony
How we witness - We are each different!
We are the workers in the wilderness! Leading others to the life changer!
Voices of hope - arms of love and legs of mercy!
Conclusion
Power outages - Ice storms - people lose power - congregations lose power. What if we all lived as a constant source of power? “God’s work done in God’s way will never lack God’s supply.”
Eph:3:20 - What if we believed big? We lived by His power! God will do great things in youe life! Redecorate, renew! Redeem!
