What compels us? Hope! Life! The Good News!
1) Our Purpose - Blessing
- explanation, exclamation, declaration - Psalm 1, Beatitudes, Genesis 12:1-3
Q: How do we reach this purpose? Make the run?
Football camp - the dream, hope? To win! They are training! Specifically! Focused on each one’s role, duty, part they fulfill in the road to the Superbowl. Individual commitment to a group effort - that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.
There is a designed process! The church must have a design in order to fulfill our purpose!
My prayer to God before my testimony in Mexico - The process! So clear! So simple! Flying 6 miles above earth gives you a big picture! We must see clearly and eliminate clutter.
2) Our Process - Matt 7:13-14
Do you know where you are going? What road you are on? Can people tell? Can you tell?
1) Tell - Lee Darling told me! People can tell if there is a change! 2 Cor. 5:17.

What can people tell about you? Us? OHC is truly a body that loves God and each other! It is evident! Telling is essential in reaching our purpose!
2) Teach - Clint Copeland - honest-true-genuine - but had a real joy, hope, purpose! This influenced me! Matthew 28:18-20 Point - It takes a true love of Jesus to teach his commands! Jesus said, “If you love me, you’ll keep my commands.” Clint was real!
Show! Lead by example!

My pet peeve - "Do as I say, not as I do."
Lead by showing your love in action! Honesty at work, humility in the home, hope in the world, and integrity in the face of trials and tests. OHC is a body that teaches! We have a genuine desire to lead and show the ways of Jesus!
Teaching makes disciples!
3) Serve - Boats in a harbor - like people in a comfortable place - Yet Jesus came down and Phil. 2:5 "took the form of a servant." To fulfill the Father’s will! Luke 19:10 "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which is lost." Jesus touched lives!
Lepers, demon possessed, the dead, the poor, the rich, the helpless, the sick and hurting!
We want to touch lives! Our greeter, our teachers, those behind the scenes. We each have a special gift to offer the body of Christ! Believe in what you have to offer! Know that you can impact and influence Your smile may change eternity!

3) Our Passion
Like John Colter, we must have a passion for life. We can achieve the purpose God has given us! Tell, teach and serve!

Let us storm the gates of Hell! Let us break down the walls that hold the prisoners! Let us fulfill the mission God has given us! Let us win! Let us bless! Tell, teach, and serve!
