Hello Friend,
Pastor Mark here! Yep, still kickin' and seeking God! You know, it's tough staying close to God, don't you think? I mean, we are so entrapped by the busy bug, and fatigue too!
When does God fit into your busy schedule? It's tough balancing things! I have seen good, sweet people start out following Jesus with passion only to be stalled out by the forces of the world! They are entrapped by debt because of poor stewardship . . . spend, spend, spend . . . They have one failed relationship after another . . . me, me, me . . . they are not regular in church, which probably spills over to prayer life too.
Is there hope for us? I say YES!! If you will simple say yes to Jesus! Decide to follow HIM!
You say you do? Well that's between you and God! Jesus says something I think you ought to read in Matthew 7:15-23. Find your Bible and read this and then pray. What kind of fruit do you bear? Kindness or rudeness? Joy or grief? Peace or war? Are you controlled by circumstance or Christ? Please take a minute to think about this! Jesus is life! I want to experience the depths of this life and I want it for you, too! Be brutally honest with yourself! Am I bearing an unconfessed sin? Grudge? Bitterness? Hoplessness? Pride? Yuk!
Cry out to God for help, because you can't do a thing unless God helps you! (John 15)
Make a decision this year: "It's not about me, but Jesus." Find a church and be faithful! God is faithful!
